
Earth Hour is leaving at least one person unimpressed.
Richard McGrath, leader of New Zealand's Libertarianz Party, likened Earth Hour to stepping "back into the Dark Ages, where human productivity was limited by the environment."
He thinks Earth Hour is "the nightmarish creation of backward thinking,

Earth Hour occurs this Saturday March 28, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm (2030 hrs to 2130 hrs) local time. About 2,000 cities worldwide will participate this year, turning off lights at landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building, the Pyramids of Giza and the Sydney Opera House.
